Blake Allen Finger and Hailey Justine Askeland grew up six blocks away from each other in their hometown of Northfield, MN. Freshman year of high school they became friends sharing an art class together, a lunch period and through working at Blake's family's restaurant, the Quarterback Club. On August 8, 2009, right before their junior year, Blake asked Hailey to date him while on a walk through Northfield's Central Park. They have encountered many of life's obstacles and blessings together through high school graduation, attending different colleges freshman year, being reunited at NDSU sophomore year, losing friends and family, gaining lasting friendships, college exams, family vacations, running a marathon together, graduation from college, and most recently, on May 21, 2015 on a beach in Miami Florida, Blake got down on one knee...and Hailey said YES!
